Shur-I-Kan is one of the UK’s prominent deep house producers who have been bringing his passion for music for years: be that his The Bays days (where he performed along with Jimpster and Tom Middleton) as an accomplished keyboard player or producing music for Freerange Records, Tsuba, Lazy Days and his own Dark Energy, or playing sophisticated DJ sets around the world – in Riga he played at Amber Muse records party for the first time back in 2006 and many time since then.
Shur-I-Kan’s new “State of Emergency” three-tracker EP is out today on Freerange Records, you can get it here. In his mix for Heed the Sound Tom Szirtes played all three tracks from his massive release. Enjoy the house vibes from the UK.
