Alexis Tyrel is a Dutch DJ and producer who runs Lessismore record label along with MBC since 2003. He has been producing techno and electro records for more than a decade now but his first Alexis Tyrel LP came out in 2011, and the second album “Return to Planet Alpha” followed just in March this year. It featured a couple of remixes that Tyrel made under his alter ego Gideon (which actually is his real name).
Of course the sound of Tyrel and Gideon has a lot in common, but Tyrel’s vibe is quite melodic comparing to more uncompromising mood of Gideon. Today’s premiere is a track “Keep It Simple” taken from the new “In For A Penny In For A Pound” EP forthcoming on Lessismore. It’s a deeper techno production with a groove, where evolving chord is keeping the vibe solid throughout.
