Brooklyn based duo Walker & Royce started when Sam and Gavin, having known each other in and out of the dance scene for years, finally began working together in 2011. Since their debut at Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels they have been purposefully moving forward and released their music at Moda Black, Pets Recordings, W&O Street Tracks, Dirtybird and most recently Relief. Today we are happy to premiere Firejosé remix of their next single “Fetish” on Amber Muse in Latvia.
“Fetish” is a peak-time groover driven by a filtered wobble bass line, and features signature pitched up/down vocals as well as surprising organ chords. Estonian DJ, producer and promoter Firejosé gave the original a very melodic and broken atmospheric twist using classic jungle loops and patterns.
