An inspiration to the French DJ and producer Christopher Kah has always came from the likes of Kenny Larkin, Sean Deason, Colin Dale and Carl Craig. In his teens he joined an electronic association and started mixing Detroit techno. Since then he is fully dedicated to it.
Dedication to the genre has brought him closer to the French legend Laurent Garnier, for whom he made a remix, and today he has an impressive back catalogue with the releases on Terrence Fixmer’s Planete Rouge, Anthony Rother’s Datapunk, DJ Hell’s International Deejay Gigolo and Dr. Motte’s Praxxiz. Another step forward for him is inception of his own record label Highwav. And we are glad to premiere a closing track from the very first imprint’s release “Spektre” EP.
“Detrasian” has sparse drums, emotive string melodies and chugging bass hits. It’s a dreamy and airy piece of techno to catch a breath during the energetic set.
