Grad_u has been on the Lithuanian scene since 2000 when he was pouring some quality drum’n’bass from his home studio. Five years later he accidentally heard “Prospect II” by Fluxion and it totally turned his musical view to a wonderful world of dub techno.
Seven years ago he teamed up with fellow musician to work on a net record label and in 2012 opened his own vinyl only imprint Redscale – its eighth vinyl record to be released on October 24 and we’d like to premiere the A-Side from it “Extrasolar Moon”.
This is bassline-driven raw jacking acid techno which perfectly aligned with grad_u’s signature heavily echoed dub. His sonic landscape levitates in the golden middle between your childhood’s forest and your everyday asphalt jungle.
